Little about Metro Ready Mix
Metro Ready Mixed Concrete, as it is popularly called, refers to concrete that is specifically manufactured for delivery to the customer’s construction site in a freshly mixed and plastic or unhardened state. Concrete itself is a mixture of Portland Cement, water and aggregates comprising sand and gravel or crushed stone.
In traditional work sites, each of these materials is procured separately and mixed in specified proportions at site to make concrete. Ready Mixed Concrete is bought and sold by volume- usually expressed in cubic meters. We have a Schwing Stetter CP30 Concrete Batch Mix Plant and Own Transit Mixers and high powered pumps. We can cater to projects being built within a radius of 50km in the city. We are vertically integrated with better manufacturing, marketing and financial resources in this industry than many others, and enjoy competitive edge over them.

NABL & QCI CERTIFIED FACILITIES
The Company’s Central Concrete Testing Laboratories in Chennai have secured the coveted NABL Accreditation under ISO/IEC: 17025: 2005, in the field of Mechanical Testing of Aggregates & Concrete.

Cusum Technique
Another key feature of the QA system practiced by the Company includes the use of Cusum (cumulative summation) technique. We purchase cement, admixtures and aggregates from trusted sources.

Laboratory Testing
The Company’s production facilities in different locations are supplemented with a state-of-the-art central laboratory for testing of concrete and its ingredients. These materials are approved only after rigorous testing.
